Who publishes this site
Halden Review is an independent editorial project about bonuses, promo codes and account offers at online brokers. It is not IQ Option, it is not owned by IQ Option, and it is not endorsed by or affiliated with the broker or any company in its group. When a page here describes what IQ Option does, it is describing a third party from the outside, using the broker's own published pages and the public record left by its regulators.
The site is run by the independent operator behind Halden Review. No registered company name, office address or trade-body membership is stated on this page, for the simple reason that none is claimed. Everything you need in order to reach a person is on the contact page, and that is the same address used for corrections and legal notices.
The editor
Every page is written, checked and signed off by Cerys Faulkner, Promotions and Offers Editor. She is the only editorial voice on the site. There is no wider staff list, no rotating cast of contributors and no guest posts, so a single standard applies across all of the coverage and one named person is answerable for it.
How claims are sourced and dated
The research behind these guides is restricted to primary sources: IQ Option's own website and blog, the public register and announcements of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, and the published decisions of the European Securities and Markets Authority. Affiliate blogs, forum threads and competitor review sites are not treated as evidence for anything factual.
The rules around trading promotions move, and so does the offer picture inside a live account. Anything that can change — a licence status, which entity serves which country, what shows up in a platform's own promotions area — is written with the date it was checked, and readers are asked to confirm it against the broker's current pages before acting on it. Where a figure could not be confirmed against a primary source, this site gives a range, attributes the number to whoever published it, or leaves it out.
What this site does not do
- No hands-on testing. Nobody here has deposited, traded, or withdrawn money on the platform. Pages describe published terms and the regulatory framework around them, never a measured experience.
- No trading advice. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to open a position, buy or sell an instrument, or follow a strategy. Trading carries a risk of loss, and only you can judge whether it suits your circumstances.
- No promo codes. This site does not publish or invent code strings, and does not present unverified codes as working ones.
- No income claims. No payout rate, win rate or expected return appears anywhere here.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong, out of date, or misleading, write to the editor and say which page and which sentence. Reports that point at a primary source are the fastest to act on. Confirmed errors are fixed on the page itself and the checked date is updated; where a correction changes the meaning of a claim rather than a detail of wording, the page says what was changed.
